Error: System menu does not exist. Disabling...

I get the following messages: MenuBuilder
Error: System menu does not exist. Disabling. after wich the
application segfaults. What is the problem?
A: Aurora-panel can't locate the xdg menu file applications.menu. Find
it, usually it resides at /etc/xdg/menus and symlink it to
/usr/etc/xdg/menus, creating the directories if necessary.
